1. Our approach
CreatePipe is a local-first Chrome extension. Your captured records live on your device until you choose to push them to a destination (CRM, ticketing, or task system). We never auto-sync, never sell your data, and never share it with third parties without your explicit action.
2. What we collect
- Account information: Email, name, and organization (when you sign up for Pro or Team).
- Captured records: Stored locally in your browser. Only sent to the destination you authorize.
- Usage analytics: Aggregate, anonymized, and used only to improve the product. Opt-out available.
- Billing information: Processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
3. What we do not collect
- Browsing history
- Page content from sites you don't capture from
- Personal identifiers across sites (no fingerprinting)
- Third-party tracker data
4. How we use your data
We use the limited data we collect to: provide the service, prevent abuse, send service-related emails, and improve product quality through aggregated metrics.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Data residency
EU users' data is processed in EU data centers (Frankfurt). US users' data is processed in US data centers (Virginia). We support custom data residency for Enterprise customers.
7. Subprocessors
We use a small number of subprocessors: Stripe (billing), Cloudflare (CDN), AWS (infrastructure). Full list available on request to [email protected].
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
9. Changes to this policy
We'll notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
